It snowed last week - quite a lot. In fact, the high school called snow a snow day each day last week. Combined with Christmas, this makes a huge winter vacation. My dad got a Tivo and it sure is cool. You no longer have to watch whatever happens to be on TV, you watch what you want to watch when you want to watch it.

I went down to Carson City yesterday to talk to an MIT interviewer. How did it go? We talked for over two and a half hours; I guess it went well, but who knows....
